Her Well Kept Secrets.

I’m about to share a recipe I found and added too to create my own. It’s so good it just melts, I could eat this entire sheet.

Disclaimer I don’t do well with measurements, therefore my recipes are solely on taste and love. 🫶🏼

1 stick of butter

1 cup of brown sugar

1 cup of light corn syrup

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

Some vanilla (to your liking)

Pinch of salt

I added some drops of cinnamon cooking oil.

Combine everything together in a pot and heat together on warm until it starts to bubble or boil.

Then stir consistently for 10-15 minutes to avoid burning your gold. 😍

Lay out on parchment paper covering a sheet pan/cookie pan and let cool to set up.

I sprinkled salt over the top for favor.

Then cut and pull apart one cool.

This bag may not look like much but to me it really is so much more than a trendy Yeti Camino 20 bag.

My 30th birthday was back in the middle of summer, and this is what I asked my boyfriend of nearly 2 years for. Of course what I wanted was out of stock and he couldn’t order it.

So we waited….and waited.

We waiting 2 months and I had basically forgotten. I mean any other boyfriend I’ve had would take it as “she won’t remember and I’ll save myself the $130”, right?? That’s how it always was in my relationships in the past.

Last Thursday he said, “your bag will be here next week.”

HE REMEMBERED. HE HAD BEEN WATCHING.

So again, I know 2 months is 2 months and this bag is just any ordinary yeti bag to anyone else.

To me…it’s him prioritizing me and making me feel loved. Making me feel like I’m important enough to remember a gift that I didn’t necessarily need. Him knowing birthdays are a big deal to me and keeping track of the specific item I wanted to make sure he did something to celebrate my 30th.

Ok ok ok, I do not want to keep him JUST bc he got me this bag. Lol

I love this man and I love how he shows up for me and my two kids. In many many different ways. And I plan to expose and navigate thru all those things in this blog. But in this moment I just wanted to brag about him and remembering something so simple that any other man has never cared to do.

That being said, it’s ok to have high standards and high boundaries and high expectations, bc one day you will tell those “high must haves” to someone and they will accept everything you need and run to the end of the world and back for you, letting you know you aren’t too much, but just enough. 🫶🏼

I’m not sure what all I can say about myself considering I’m behind an anonymous platform. Anyhow, we’ll give it a go!

I have wanted to blog and have had this idea for about 3 years now. Originally it was going to be telling my life essentially. There has been a lot that has happened in my life, I’ve grown up quick and have had to mature a lot faster than I’d originally liked. I thought I had a lot of information and insight on things that other people will have different opinions on. A place where I can share my opinions, give tips and tricks and most importantly not expose any ones identity that doesn’t want that information shared. AND let’s be honest, I’ve gone through some not great things and I have different perspectives on some people. It would probably be best to keep those specifics under wraps.

Im a 30 year old mom of two kids, a boy who’s 10 and a girl who’s 8. I have a boyfriend of 2 years who fills the role of their completely absent bio dad.

I’m not perfect, I’m probably going to have plenty of typos (If I havent already. Hope you like playing “What the hell does that mean??”), I also like to use slang and make funnies here and there, or joke to lighten the topic. haha.

I am a cosmetologist and a lash tech so I’d love to post about this stuff as well. You never really know what I might come up with so lets see what I have in store. Also, never hesitate to comment and share ideas of things you’d like me to dive into. 😉
